Resource Commercial guides the successful opening of 8 locations for Vivant Behavioral Health
Vivant Behavioral Health, a rapidly growing provide of Autism Therapy Services for children is working with RCA to grow its Applied Behavioral Analysis business in multiple states. RCA’s assistance with everything from “site selection to turnkey” has enabled Vivant to efficiently open locations in Iowa, Nevada, Minnesota and Maine. Future expansion plans include additional locations in the core states and new locations in Illinois and Michigan.
RCA relocates local Northbrook favorite Noggin Builders
RCA worked with Noggin Builders, a local provider of extracurricular STEM programming for children ranging from pre-K to 8 th grade to provide a new facility in Sanders Court in Northbrook. The new space is more conducive to student learning and features open areas, higher ceilings and more convenient pick up and drop off arrangements for parents.
RCA secures 26,000 SF lease with VNA at Bloomhaven in Aurora
Resource commercial advisors is pleased to welcome VNA, an Aurora-based community healthcare provider to its Bloomhaven medical office building in Aurora, IL. The facility will bring high quality essential healthcare services including internal medicine, pediatrics, OBGYN, urgent care, pharmacy and more to the underserved, east side of Aurora. Fox Valley Developers has retained Resource Commercial Advisors to lease 50,600 square feet of brand new medical office space at its Bloomhaven Development in Aurora,IL. The Bloomhaven Development will revitalize Aurora’s Bardwell Community by providing quality healthcare and ancillary services to an underserved market.
The Bloomhaven Community Healthcare Center is one component of the much broader mixed-use redevelopment of the former Rush Copley Hospital featuring:

- Aurora Life – a 53-unit, apartment community providing living space and 24/7 support for adults with limit cognitive and developmental disabilities

RCA Relocates Lake Forest Pediatrics’ Vernon Hills office to 565 Lakeview Parkway
In late 2020, Lake Forest Pediatrics learned that its building at 870 West End Court in Vernon Hills had been sold and was being repurposed from medical office to a religious use. The 60+ year old practice with locations in Lake Bluff, Lindenhurst and Vernon hills was forced to relocate their Vernon Hills office as of March 31, 2021.
RCA worked diligently with the practice to identify a new space down the road at 565 Lakeview Parkway. They negotiated lease terms that included a favorable rental rate, substantial rent abatement and a generous tenant improvement allowance. The TI allowance and rent abatement were critical deal points that enabled Lake Forest Pediatrics to move forward with the new space, despite the uncertainty of Covid-19.
Once the lease was signed, RCA deployed its newly formed Relocation Management Team to oversee the transition from the old office to the new. RCA’s oversight of the project resulted in delivery of Lake Forest Pediatrics’ beautiful new space on budget, and just one day late (due to a supply chain issue).
RCA Launches Relocation Management Services to Provide Seamless, End-to-End Client Experience
Resource Commercial Advisors recently launched Relocation Management Services to help its clients seamlessly navigate the complexities of building out and moving into commercial spaces. While many tenant rep brokers view lease signing as the “end of the process,” Resource Commercial Advisors recognizes the post lease signing period as critical to achieving total client satisfaction.
“We often found that our clients had difficulty managing build outs on their own, particularly when their staff members were heads down on their assigned jobs,” said Mark Brodson, Designated Managing Broker for Resource Commercial Advisors. “When build outs were delayed, clients looked to us to help them through the process. By then, we were in crisis resolution mode. Relocation Management Services enable us to identify and resolve challenges early in the construction process to ensure a calmer, more timely project outcome.”
RCA successfully completed its first Relocation Management Assignment in May, 2021 for Lake Forest Pediatrics. RCA’s management services helped to bring a very time-sensitive build out over the finish line on time and on budget. Since completing the Lake Forest Pediatrics Assignment, RCA has begun offering Relocation Management Services to all of its tenant representation clients and continues to have consistent results that drive the highest levels of client satisfaction.
