Open Door Health Center provides a medical home approach to primary health care for an underserved community. When Director Perry Maier met with RCA, he indicated that they had outgrown their current Aurora location. One of the most important requirements for Open Door was access to Pace bus service for their clients. The Rush Copley campus had a built-out 6,700 SF medical space that was virtually ready to go. The location also featured a Pace bus stop right on campus. Now, Open Door Clinic provides services that support the Rush community, while providing easy access for all of Open Door’s patients.
